-own a 2000 95 with the turbo six
- have had intermitant check engine light for about 3 years, usually in association with transmission warning light. Lights come on at 3?4 tank and half tank fuel gauge indicator, usually disappears and next start-up. With few exceptions has not created driveability problems, but recently have had problems with misfires and one trip with multiple stall-outs.
- also intermitant rear light failure warning message.
- usually does not generate error codes, but on two occasions has given Code #1215 and shut off traction control system.
- last time generated multiple sensor "misreads", all checked and cleared.
- actions to date - repalce plugs and leads
- cleaned throttle body linkage
Possible next steps: replace transmission sensor $500 + labour, replace ignition control module - 2 modules -which one at $500 per + labour?
- fuel tank sender.
Any advice at which to try?
