Hello All!!
Issue #1. (repost from below, with more info now) HARD STARTS. For three or four mornings last week, the engine had a hard time starting. Usually takes 3 attempts with me depressing the throttle finally. I did smell a burning kind of smell in some greyish white smoke that was made the first hard start time. There wasn't any smoke the following mornings. The car ran fine the rest of the day each day. The past two days there has not been anything going on. Maybe bad gas? Posters below thought the DICs may be the issue, but since the car runs ok the whole day even with a LOT of driving I do not think that the DICs are the issue.
Issue #2. Temperature rise above the normal zone in which the needle on the temp gauge stays at 9 oclock. Happened when idling for about 5 minutes with the A/C on full blast. It also happened last month one day in the mountains. Maybe the coolant bypass valve? I had to add a little bit of coolant a couple of weeks ago, but nothing major.
Issue #3: Driver's side headlight lamp. I have had to replace it 3 time this year already and it just went out again (low beam). What could be causing this poor lamp life/ early failure?
Great car huh if this is all I got...
