I did this job once before and have to do it again soon. I am not happy!! Replacing the center idler pulley IS easier than replacing the thermostat on the 4-cylinder engine.
What makes mine worse (and probably yours too) is that the 'stat housing is not machined as shown in the photos. Mine does not have slotted holes to allow partial removal of bolts, all bolts have to be fulley removed to gain access.
