to simply purchase 4 double thick and two single thick shims, given the "rule" that two shims per side is the limit. That gives you full coverage. If you measure first, then buy "just the right amount" then check after installation, you have a double labor.
Or, it can't be that hard to rig a camber-test rig. For example maybe with a mechanic's square, a laser pointer, a mirror, tape measure, duct tape and a level. Almost like a "Watch Mr. Wizard" experiment.
