Shaky Saab Still Shaky (Help!)

Hi All,
I posted a thread about this a few weeks ago, but still can't fix my shaky Saab. Annoyance has turned to frustration has turned to desperation, and welcome any advice. Both me and my honest indy mechanic are stumped. I'd stuff a wad of 20's into the tank if I thought it would help.
Also, any ideas for a better diagnosis?
To the quick: My 2000 9-5 Aero starts shaking, or shuddering, significantly once I bring it up beyond 55mph. It's most noticeable accelerating 55-70ish in 5th gear, slightly less shaky in 4th. Hard to notice at all in any gear at any speed below that.
As soon as I let off the pedal, the shuddering stops. Also, no vibration when breaking or cruising. Tires were recently replaced with alignment, etc. by a reliable mechanic, so I don't think the problem is here. Problem reappears as soon as I give it a bit more gas (e.g. going up a hill on the highway.)
One kind member suggested the clutch hammer, but wouldn't this be more noticeable at higher rpms? (55 at 5th is quite low.)
Also, recently the turbo air intake tube popped off on account of an old clamp. A quick fix put it back on securely, but perhaps a bit of dirt/gunk, whatever made it's way in before I fixed the problem?
Any guesses and/or suggestions? Ideas for further diagnosis?
Thanks you kindly for any help.
Eric
