Was it replaced under the recall? The recall is to inspect the production number on the IDM. If its below a certain number you replace it. If its above that number you do nothing. Even if it was inspect only (no replacement) during the recall it will show up on IRIS as an IDM claim, Because they need to pay us for inspection.
My guess is if it was replaced in '04 at 35,544 miles then it already had the newer production number and only required an inspection for the recall at 44,090 miles.
