Usually when I defend my V6 it's over an LPT-4 between 1999-2003, before Saab seemed to wise up and start shipping the cars with PCV 6 and the newer headbolts from the factory. I still like the V6, it's quick, it just seems like it has to work a lot harder than the Arc I drove yesterday, and it does seem more front-heavy. But by all means, if you can afford the '04+ model years go for the 4-cyl! (Not that you have a choice for the V6).
