When the manual notes that "some" cars come equipped with BiXenon, I think what they are trying to say is that the standard fitment are halogens, not that there are two kinds of Xenons. As a matter of fact, there is only one Xenon option for Saabs. Concerning the warnings about replacing yourself, that gave me pause too. But after watching a tech do it for me once, I concluded that the warning was liability overkill. I replaced the next one myself and found it to be very similar to replacing the halogen bulbs on my 9-3. On the passenger side, you'll probably have to remove the MAF and related plumbing go get access to headlight, but after that it should be smooth sailing. Of course, don't try this with the ignition on!
