I tow locally 2000-2500 lbs of dirt while working on my hard this summer. I asked many questions to about towing and found the power acceptable although it does press and push the tongue weight to the limit on wagon.
I'm just not impressed with braking under emergency conditions. I've driving on the freeway and around town and braking can get away from you under the wrong conditions.
I can see how the one guy does it. If you are experienced, REALLY know what you are doing, incredibly cautions and have a great route it can be done. it's not for everyone.
I like to take chances too and save money but this is a AAA job!
