I have older models of the Blizzacks on my two 9-5's. They may not be quite as good on ice as studded snow tires, but the are excellent in the snow and good on ice. But they are much better on dry and wet roads than studded tires because the studs can tend to slide. They are also much, much quieter than studded tires, even quieter than some Summer tires I have used.
