I would not worry about the rear suspension personally, but I highly dought the strut is bent, it is most likley one of the arms, but they are cheap and easy to replace!
but with $3200 in damage and a 99 9-5 I would take this oppertunity to upgrade! unless your car is in really good shape, the problem with the 9-5 is maintanance! you know your car and no way would I replace it with another 99, I would go for a 2001 or newer! you know your car and what it needs etc.... if you buy another 99 you will likely be in for some repairs and possibly very costly ones.
I bought a 2001 9-5 Aero last fall the car was absolutly Mint inside and out escept is was in a minor accident, it spun around and ripped the front bumper off from a gaurdrail and hit a curb with the rear wheel (bending the rear suspension)I fixed the car myself and I don't think it is possible for the rear strut to change toe or Camber unless it is really bent and won't allow the car to raise to the proper height, but to do that you would have to bend the upper arm as well. I had to replace the main arm and hub on mine because the toe was way in.
