Hoping to get some opinions from you guys. Having a terrible time trying to decide. I actually have a 9-3 Arc, but after searching the boards, there seemed to be a lot more tire-talk on the 9-5 board, so I thought I'd post here too.
I bought my car at auction with worn-out Yoko 520's on it and it's time to replace them. I think I've narrowed it down to two very different tires; Bridgestone Potenza G019 Grid vs. Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum / High Performace All Season vs. Grand Touring All Season.
I'm definitely a spirited driver, but as much as I enjoy a hard corner, I enjoy a quite, relaxing drive. I'm probably leaning more toward the Potenza's, but the reviews of road noise are holding me back (I know that's part of a high perf tire). Anyone have any thoughts as to the G019's road noise compared to other tires they've owned? Are they truly noisy?
Thanks for the suggestions?
