C'mon guys the obvious answer is two oil sumps, one weight of oil lubricating for cold starts and then when reaching a certain temp a valve actuates closing the 1st sump and then utilizing the other sump for warm temp conditions.
So if there is an oil pan with a removable cover to clean sludge, why not a 2nd oil sump ?
Surprise no one has though of this solution before, maybe I should remind Saab to design a PCV sytem that actually works or an oil change recommedation that has been actually thought out - before they release the replacement for the I4.
sincerely
