2004 Arc with 49k miles. Going on a 2000 mile roadtrip in 10 days and need to take care of this before I leave. I have a subtle and tinny rattling sound coming from the belt and pulley area.. sounds as if a piece of metal in not securely fastened. Anyway, indy recommended I do the belt at 40k so I'm hoping that it or the pulleys are the source of the noise I'm hearing. I have an automatic so I'm going with the long belt and I intend to replace all three pulleys as well. I was just about to place my order at eeuroparts but noticed they do not sell genuine Saab pulleys. Cause for concern? If not eeuroparts, where should I buy the pulleys? Thanks.
