My experience is that the Scantech pullies are really crap. When I bought my daughters 900 it had one and it was wobbling pretty badly. They are a different design from OEM. The center section is held in by a huge C clip. Adding a second C clip took up the slack and it seemed good enough to keep as a spare for short term use.
I don't replace pulleys & belts on a set schedule but instead monitor them on an annual basis. I've used a Wazee pulley for a year or two but they went up in price recently. Now you can't even find aftermarket pulleys in the $35 range like you used to.
