I think this is a terrific move for Saab. I'm not a modder, my 02' Aero is just fine as is. However, this gets my juices flowing. If they can build this car for 50K It will place them very competitively with BMW, MERC, and Audi in the high performance market. Done right it could capture some of the M5 wannabes and certainly siphon off sales from the BMW 540Wagon. It also presents a performance image that Saab lacks at the present time.Saab needs people in the showroom and sleek, high performance cars will help. Add the fact that everyone connects Hirsch with performance and it is a definite win-win situation for both Saab and Hirsch.
