I had the same problem on my 95 Aero sedan. I put Koni rear shocks on it from Talifero Genuine Saab. Be sure you put the spring collar on the top groove. That is one nice thing about the Konis is that there is an upper mount slot that gives you more pre-load and therefore raises your ride height. I believe the shocks are $250. Have your indie install them.
Certain people are rabid about the faults in the 95 rear suspension. IMHO it is not that serious.
If you have the shims installed the shocks should do it. If you have the original shocks they probably need replacing anyway.
