Nice job! This has me wanting to ask a question I've been meaning to ask for a while though. Especially today after CT reached 90 (according to my car).
My 2001 9-5 when I first got it had the most amazing A/C I had ever felt. After baking in the sun on a 90 degree day I would turn on the car and within literally three seconds the air from the vents was ICE COLD. Then it developed a leak, and I had to keep recharging it every spring and it never was as cold.
Now I have my '04 Aero, and while the A/C gets nice and cold, it takes FOREVER to get down to temperature. Probably about 5 minutes with recirc on before the air from the vents is cold. Maybe I'll go out and plug my cheapy WalMart gauge on the low pressure side. I don't think the gauge works though. Do others with 9-5's get ice cold air right away or was it just me? Thanks.
