Well, I have the V6 engine and I Seafoamed mine some time ago. Let an intake manifold vacuum hose draw out of the can. Regulated flow by how badly the car loaded up. It was fun driving it after it sat for a while as there was clouds of white smoke and people pointing and blowing their horns to let me know something was wrong. After the clean-out, it idled really smooth. In my old racing days (Mopar), I use pour water into the carburetor. I would imagine one could also mist water into the SAAB engine too, using a garden sprayer. Can't be much different than a "water injection system". Some believe breaking the carbon free can cause cylinder wall scarring but I never saw evidence of that when tearing down Mopar's. If you get carried away, I suppose you could hydro-lock the engine and then it's over.
