I did mine and it was that easy. Loosen the clamps and slide them out of the way as much as you can. the fit is pretty tight, and notice that there are a couple of indexing tabs in the rubber. the connector is on the bottom, so I got the MAF free and lifted it a bit and then disconnected the connector.
Spray it with MAF cleaner. I used CMC brand that I got at an auto parts store. don't touch the internal grid or wires with anything including the tube from the aerosol can. Lay the MAF on a clean shop towel and spray it. Let it dry before putting it back in. this easy because the cleaner evaporates fast.
