I know the 2.3t is not exactly Lexus smooth, but mine seems a little ridiculous. It's got fresh plugs (NGK) and a brand new DI cassette, but this thing shakes like there's no tomorrow idling at a stop light in drive. I know it's tough to compare a vibration over the internet, but do any of your 9-5's do this? Idling in drive my steering wheel wiggles up and down within probably 1/8" blurring the edges of it. Accelerating from a stop there's a certain RPM range (1500-2000 maybe) where the rear view mirror blurs from engine vibration - can't see a thing. This is without the A/C on too! Turn the A/C on and you feel like the car is going to jiggle off the road; very little exaggeration on my part. I can't imagine the engine mounts are a problem at 39k miles... I guess I could have the idle raised but even stopped in neutral if I just touch the gas a bit it still shakes like a jumping bean. I test drove an '04 Arc before this one and didn't really notice this. Any suggestions other than "Go buy an Audi?" I'll see if I can catch my steering wheel or a drink in my cup holder bouncing up and down on video today... Thanks.
