HP proportional to Octane in Turbo Cars Posted by Ian Glenday [Email] (#95) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Ian Glenday) on Fri, 15 Mar 2002 14:35:18 In Reply to: running 91octane: Linear engine = Aero engine?, ed'98, Fri, 15 Mar 2002 12:21:07 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
There have been some excellent posts on this subject in the past (Do a search). You get what you pay for. No sense getting an Aero if you are not going to put recommended fuel in it. This is a performance car after all. You could not do better performance wise and gas consumption wise as with an Aero. If you are a tree hugger, any SAAB is a great choice over any alternative. It is also highly recycleable(sp). US gas prices are low because we are taxed less. The cost per barrel is pretty much the same at the well head. This is a political issue, not an environmental one.
