My 2001 Aero did the same thing last summer. At first intermittent, then the lights are on all the time, then the Speedometer stops working.
Look it up here. do a search. I cn't remember the error code. It can be wheel sensors, but most likely it is the ABS controller. what you do it take it out and send it to BBA-Reman in Massachusetts. $159.00 plus shipping and they repair and thoroughly bench test it. You can remove the controller and still drive the car.....no ABS, buit brakes the old fashion way.
to remove:
1. unhook the batterey and remove it.
2. remover the battery baseplate
3 undo the srews and nuts on the fuse box and move it aside.
4 remove the plug from the controller. You have to unlock it by sliding the lock connector.
5 remove 6 torx screws and remove the controller.
6 be careful the solenoid actuators on the hydraulic portion are exposed. Cover them with plastic bag and tape in place to keep dust and dirt out.
7 send the controller to BBA
Put battery back in a drive the car until the controller is back then reinstall it.
Usually there is a very tiny wire in the controller that breaks. BBA will fix it.
Look up BBA on eBay or http://www.BBA-reman.com
Good luck
