My rear seat won't flip up - any ideas? Posted by Saabpilot [Email] (#134) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Saabpilot) on Thu, 30 Jul 2009 19:54:23 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Two weeks ago I purchased a new to me 2003 9-5 Aero Wagon (from a Saabnet classified ad). So far there are no major surprises but one really annoying thing. The little strap that you pull on to raise the rear seats so that you can fold down the seatbacks - well the one on the driver's side is no longer attached. So I should just be able to pull up on the little pad at the base of the seat, and the seat should come up right? Well, it won't! It's catching on something in the center but I can't figure out what. I feel around under there with my hand and can't find the problem. The passenger side comes right up just like it's supposed to. I don't know what to do other than stick a mirror down behind the seat and try to find out what's catching. Any of you have any ideas?
