...that the interval is different based upon (apparently) the level of fuel in the tank. Why should this be? If it takes 2 seconds at full tank, why shouldn't it also take 2 seconds at 1/4 tank? If it always took the same amount of time, I'd be far less likely to post.
Small differences like this can sometimes presage a larger problem down the road. Far better to seek out advice while the car still DOES start and run under all conditions rather than wait until some rainy night far from home...
