I guess Nissan Canada is different that Nissan USA.
On the oilcooler lid sealant, I think I know what you mean about he lid maybe not a candidate for anerobic sealant. I will stay with some sort of high quality silicone like Pematex Ultra Grey. This is what the first Nissan parts guy said they use in their shop instead of the 1207C silicone. Looks good to me here quoted from the Permatex web site.
