I know OEM size for the Aero is the 45 series (with 25in diam) and that the 50 series have a 25.9in diam (almost 1 inch more).
So Savary, since you say you run the 225/50R17 series on your 02 Aero, is there any rubbing, bottoming, or turning issues with that size?
What does it do to the speedometer accuracy ? Does it make the speedo show slower than actual speed of car ?
For some tire brands, the load rating increases on the 50 series vs. the 45 series, and 50 series might help some with road bumps.
The OEM Pirelli PZero Rosso 225/45R17 are listed with an XL load range which has a max load of 1477 lbs. The 50 series R17 offer this same max load of 1477 lbs. while many of the 45R17 have a max load of 1356 lbs.
