Actually, my speedometer was more accurate with the 225/50’s.
I checked it with a GPS. It was right on the money.
I did have slight rubbing on the interstate where there is fast sweeping turns through town.
And when there was a dip in the road. But now I don’t have any rubbing. No rubbing in the back, just in the front at the 10 oclock position if your facing the drivers side tire. No rubbing when turning.
It wore into the liner slightly, but nothing that I’m worried about. I can take a picture of it and post it later.
I think the car looks better with the larger tires. It fills up the wheel well more, and gets the Aero off the ground a bit.
In a non Aero car, I dont think there would be any rubbing?
