A temporary fix is to lock your front driver door from the backdoor. with driver door UNlocked close it while the back driver side door is still open. Reach through from back door and lock driver door, lock reardoor and close it. It allows you to go to sleep without worry of it going off. The car thinks somebody is waiting inside it, so it never arms itself. where as locking with the key fob or even the key makes the car set the alarm after a delay. I thought I would eventually fix the batteries under the front fender but never did. Been 2 years now of locking via backdoor(becomes a habit)hasn't gone off once yet. THIS IS TRULY TEMPORARY. I have a slow battery drain problem now which I think is due to corrosion on those batteries since they get recharged as you drive. They are most likely cooked in that box. My project for this weekend is new alarm batteries.
