Yeah, my problem with the spray can was it splattered everywhere. It left a couple white dots on my BLACK dash and they won't come off (cry). I have found that in my car wherever there's plastic on plastic (just about everywhere), that the chassis has JUST enough flex and the suspension is stiff enough that the plastic rubs together and creates a little creak over a lot of road imperfections. One of the biggest creaks I have is that dumb little cover on the dash with the solar sensor and alarm LED in it. If I could put some of this gooey silicone on its clips without getting it on the rest of my dash I bet it would shut right up. Do you know of any silicone products with say, the consistency of thick hand cream or sun block? I've already been through most of the dash (glove box, vents, "aluminum" dash panel), removing them and adding felt which has helped. But there a few spots where some thick silicone would be great, even if I have to reapply it every few months.
