My 2005 ARC was mysteriously loosing coolant and then one day I noticed a big puddle under the car. Searched the site here - and found out about the lousy Bypass Valve. I figured that must be it - so I changed it. Well, the leak is still there. After I drive the car a short while - park it running - and look under the hood - the coolant must be dripping onto the cat converter .. as there is smelly smoke coming off the converter. But the Bypass Valve and all hoses in that vicinity are dry - no signs of leak. What else is there in that area that can leak onto the cat conv ? Can the heater core have a leak ? If anyone has a similar experience - would love to hear about it.
Thanks, Brian
