Like the others say, depends on condition + mileage. Lease cars go to auction and are available to Saab dealers + private dealers. Some are looking for nicer (higher priced) cars and some are bottom feeding. Saab dealerships certify + that adds around "$3k" to the price (I was told). Generally Saab dealerships won't certify cars that had collision induced body damage regardless of how well it was repaired.
Our local dealer seemed to mainly go for nice ones with low km + price higher (06's ran around $20k this past year, with 50000km). More normal off lease examples are a bit more beat up 70+k, and $15k give or take, a bit more for a wagon. Prices should drop/become flexible now/over winter. If you find one for $12k, might be a good deal, but check carproof!
The most frustrating thing for me is most dealers go out of their way to hide the car's history, citing "privacy laws"... baloney... at least 2004+ it becomes a little bit less critical. Good luck!
James...
