After New FSDs... Toe-in bad, camber good

After I installed my FSDs recently in my 1999 SE V6, I found the uneven camber I had corrected long ago with Eibach camber adjust bolts was gone. When I put in the FSDs, I used the orignal lower strut to knuckle bolts (mine showed no evidence of any splines as mentoned by another poster) and when I measured the camber it was even side-side and about the correct inward leaning angle w/o the eccentric adjust bolts.
However, the toe-in was greater (too toed in) by quite a bit. The steering was perferctly centered but I found the toe in was almost 3 tmes what it should be. After tweaking that by careful even adjustments of the tie rod settings, all is well.
I suspect my alignment changed more because of the removal of the Eibach camber bolts but I don't recall having to adjust the toe in so much before when correcing the camber problem.
Pay careful attention to how your steering feels after the new FSDs are in and if something feels off, don't wait too long for at least a front end alignemnt check.
