Transmission slams into gear.

I posted a while back where my 2002 SAAB Auto had delayed engagement from neutral to drive of several seconds. Then about the time I was contemplating ordering a replacement transmission off Ebay, the problem went away. Now I have a new transmission issue. First, I always wait for the Tach to drop to 1000 RPM or less before putting the car into gear. I back out of the driveway just fine, then when I shift from Reverse to neutral to drive, it slams into gear (drive/1st) really hard. Since it started doing this, it seems like all the shifts are firmer throughout. Maybe the transmission fairy installed a shift-kit while I was sleeping? I checked the fluid level and it looks fine and the oil is clean. I'm wondering of it's an electronics issue to the autobox? I've even thought about disconnecting the battery for a master reset but haven't yet. Has anyone else experienced this symptom?
