I had an issue with the filament monitoring thing so I couldn't turn them off! So I took them out for a while. I missed them though so I got ambitious and tried to find a solution to the filament monitoring issue. Turns out after you shut the lights off the lamp control relay sends a pulse voltage through the filaments to make sure they're still intact. On halogen bulbs the voltage is small enough that they don't light up, but the Xenons use a small voltage so they flickered like crazy with the pulse voltage going through them. I covered the prong on the relay with electrical tape and they work 100% now. For some reason they add a little extra static to my FM radio, but I think it's due to my broken rear defrost element. The previous owner pulled off a good chunk of it with a sticker. There's a little extra glare but I lowered them a little bit. I only sometimes get complaints from on-comers if I'm cresting a hill and they're below me. I have noticed myself being blinded by other cars with HID's like BMW's with proper leveling systems in those same situations so whatever. If you decide to put them in, I will tell you which relay to cover with tape.
