Press the red collar down and pull out the plastic tube. Don't be surprised if the actual problem is the vacuum booster leaking, rather than the pipes. However, it is still the right order to trouble shoot the piping first. I would suck/blow on the check valves before I ordered a new set of pipes.
I plugged all the ends of the pipe, then used a Mityvac to test the tubing/tees/valves. All those checked out for me, and the problem was the vacuum booster.
