Yes, you'd think a bypass pulley would be a standard sort of item, particularly since I think a lot of folks would rather take the heat than blow $550 (or more) on a new a/c. But maybe I'm wrong here in what people are willing to tolerate.
How about just getting a shorter belt and ignoring the a/c pulley altogether? Has anyone tried such a thing on a 9-5? Would it work?
