Ya know, this is a bunch of BS. SAAB has engines keep sludging up and they only applied a bigger band-aide, PCV-6. A Guy at work just had his 2004 Aero sludge and destroy itself. OK, he only used Mobile 1, 5w-30 but that certainly should be more than adequate for 99.99% of the cars on the road. I think his had the PCV-6 update too. Anyway, I get tired of hearing of owners plagued by what I would call "defective engines or a defective design". I have the V6 which is archaic for the times but it's actually been OK, except for leaky oil coolers. Some say low-tension piston rings cause the problem? - well if so, why didn't they put in higher-tension rings then? There's a laundry list of possible causes but the root cause has to be a poor design.
