Nemo-I don't have an Aero, but on my 9-5 (a 2.2 diesel), you can just about get to the level plug from above to save raising the car and securing it etc.I use an Allen key with the "working end" cut down a bit so there is room to access it. The "handle" part: I slip a close-fitting long socket over it, and if you need extra torque to release it you can add an extension bar. Once loosened, you can remove it by hand: although a rag placed under it will help you to retrieve it without the hassle of removing the undertray if you should drop it. Don't worry too much about the torque figure when you do it up again-just run it up by hand and then tighten a little more with the Allen key should be OK. Of course, the Aero might be a lot more cluttered under the bonnet than my diesel-making all this reading a waste of your time-if so,I'm sorry: but it may help others. Why do I have a diesel-well, 45 mpg helps me forget my old 900SPG...Ian
