...a 2000 V6 shouldn't have SAI. They started putting it in in 2001, I'm pretty sure. But anything is possible I suppose. And a new pump for $180? I think they were about $3xx when mine failed.
Anyway, I bought new valves ($60 each) and a used pump for $75 from Elite Foreign Auto for mine. I wouldn't bother with used valves because they're 10 years old by now and are probably tired, if they're not already completely failing.
A word of warning, if you're doing this yourself, first off, the valves are a giant PITA to replace, and on top of that they're aluminum. The threads are SOFT. I stripped one of them like it was butter. Thankfully my father had a dye from his machine-shop days and we were able to re-tap it.
