The only way to know whether you have an oil pressure problem is to measure it. Normal oil pressure at idle is 15-20 psi; the oil pressure switch will close and turn on the light when oil pressure is in the 6-8 psi range.
If the switch is not defective then you may have an oil pressure problem. SAAB's specs state that oil pressure should be 30-35 psi at 2000 RPM when the engine is fully warmed up.
I suggest that you test the oil pressure before more serious things happen. Lack of oil in all of the right places due to inadequate pressure is very destructive.
