Temperature readings would be nice... With no numbers on the gage , and electroncs that increments the needle in steps rather than uniformly, it is tough to say what is really happening.
I watched it closely on the 50+ mile drive home tonight.
The needle normally rests between the N and D on the PRNDL indicator. Last Wednesday it was between the P and R when I experienced the driveability issue, real close to the Red Zone. Tonight it stayed between the N and D for the entire drive with a brief excursion between N and R, then cycled back down.
I think this position is the same slightly elevated reading I saw last night, so maybe I am just seeing normal cycling of the gage during periods of high heat and high thermal load on the cooling system.
