My 9-5 had to be driven from one dealer to the one I bought it from. There were only the miles that were appropriate for that trip on the car. The car had a couple of problems that were rectified to my satisfaction. One was a pitted windshield. The area rep came and looked at the car and agreed that this was a problem and had it replaced The car now has 88,000 miles and the windshield is better than before it was replaced. The rear bumper was scrathed so badly that it could not be rubbed out. They replaced the bumper with one from another car. There was a dent in the hood which was removed by one of those dent removal companies. I did not want the hood replaced since the nuts are painted where the hood is bolted on. They surely would not have been able to make that look like new. In my mind I questioned the true age of the car but since it was one of the first 1999 models that was not an upgraded 1998 for US sale I determined that it had to be some idiot driving behind a sand truck or the like with the transporter or when bringing it to me for sale.
