Both the Viggen and the 9-5's were conceived under GM rule. A couple of efforts at the pinnacle of Saab history. I wouldn't blame GM for these cars, I would applaud them. Every car has it's niggles, especially in the internet age. Saab's don't do too bad and still are very unique automobiles with distinct Swedish design.
I'm very happy with my 2000 Aero SportWagon and I could choose and afford any executive class European car. My Aero matches up very well with all the competition and I don't see myself coming and going. And it has been very durable going on 110k miles, still solid and still state of the art.
