Noticed this winter when putting my snows on that the rear brakes grabbed a bit once per revolution - probably warped rotors. I got new front brakes with the car when I bought it in April 2008 and perhaps the rears are original or very old. I bought an Akebono set for the rear.

I bought an intercooler and Tstat from a guy who was going to fix his V6 with it then didn't, that was six months ago and I've been living with the leak for a while. Indy quoted 5-6 hours labor for this probably ~$500 in labor alone with me supplying the parts (they told me not to do that again heh). They are not fans of the V6 and said "well you open up a can of worms and things can go wrong when doing this replacement"

I imagine it's lots of taking stuff apart to get at the intercooler, my question is should I have them do the water pump at the same time if the labor is the same? Or is it different things to get at to replace the (probably original) water pump? The Saab dealer that checked it out when i did the timing belt (before I found the independent Saab specialist) said the water pump looked okay but that was 2.5 yrs and almost 30k miles ago.

Also they'll see if it has the same C0131 ABS code it had last summer and if so they will replace the pressure sensor.

Probably looking at about $1000 in total but I haven't done anything major to the car since I did the timing belt and pulleys when I got the car at 86k. There is no oil in the coolant nor coolant in the oil, but I heard that the intercooler replacement is worse/more expensive if that is the case. Is that true or should I wait till that happens?

Currently at 114k. 2003 V6 Wagon.

Yes the vented seats were still worth it. At least I keep telling myself so. :-)

Thanks for your thoughts.
