I raced a prancing horse last night (outcome obvious)

I was driving on a relatively empty stretch off the NJ turnpike minding my own business when I was approached from behind by an impatient driver behind the wheel on a Ferrari 575 Maranello. I saw this guy coming for a while leaving a trail of cars with blinkers on as he made his way towards me. I was actually in the middle on a passing manuver when he made an agressive move hovering feet from my bumper. Annoyed and tired I performed a textbook brake check of the hard variety and stomped on it to create a buffer. Yes, it was a suicide mission but one I could not resist. The Aero downshifted and shot upwards an incline stretch of the road.

For a while, it was glorious and exhillarating. Most importantly though, I was showing the guy behind me what time it was. Judging by his agressiveness on approach I think he got to work immediately after being on the reciving end of that brake check. A few seconds passed by since our encounter and he was still in my blindspot. I glanced down at my speedo which was showing 125mph and then it happened... my mere mortal mobile ran out of juice, gears, horses and whatever else it takes to slay a Ferrari and succumbed to the incline. :) Within a half a second of disengaging it happened... the 575 roared past me, up the incline and into the distance.
Sigh.

Scotty: "I'm givin' her all she's got, Captain!"

Please save your flames, the whole thing begining to end was under twenty seconds, all lanes were straight and empty, and while I can't speak for the other guy, I was in full control of a well maintained vehicle.
