The way I see it is this. IF an oil meets a particular specification, it is on the container. Older High Mileage 10w40 did have the ACEA spec on the container. The newer container states only the ASI rating of SL/CF so it does not meet the ACEA specification any longer, regardless of what the Mobil 1 spec sheet states. So it is back to the 0w40 Mobil 1 which still has the ACEA rating on the container. By the way, when I bought the ACEA rated HM10w40 earlier this year, I contacted the tech line at Mobil. They asked for a number off of the container & they said it was manufactured in 2007!!
