Koni's from genuine Saab, new rear springs from Saab for a 2009 aero wagon, 10 mm rear spacers from Nick, new front subframe bushings ($300) and a complete 4 wheel alignment. The car feels better than new! From previous experience the Bilsteins are too harsh. The rear shocks at 90k were skipping in bumpy turns, but the front felt good. When the front struts were removed one had no gas pressure left and the other had a smashed bump stop.
The Koni rear shocks have 2 spring perch mounts, 20mm apart. I used the 10 mm spacers on the lower perch to split the difference, as the upper perch with new spring was too high, and the lower one was too low.
The rear camber is now .8 degrees negative which is perfect for tire wear and handling. The new rear springs had a free length about 15 mm taller than the old ones. Make sure and check the ride height on the rear, the springs do sag and will continue to sag. Spacers will only be a temporary solution.
