Trust me, I'm not a troll. I read this BB for a few weeks before I decided to buy my Aero (particularly the stuff about snow tires, as I've never felt a need for them) and I find it to be very informative. I was just as excited as anyone else, waiting for my Aero to arrive.
What a roller coaster I've been on the last two weeks! I thought for sure that I could never get THREE lemon Saabs. My '95 was at the dealership 51 times in less than 7 years, that equates to an average of every 2000 miles, or every 7 weeks (that included regular maintenance, as well as multiple repairs in the same trip.) My '89 was no better. I am NOT making this up! At this point I try not to call them lemons, I call them "very well maintained".
I was really looking forward to getting a good one this time. My goal was to make it to the 30 day inspection... that's not asking much. I don't like to share a lot of negative stories. But if you want more details (other than names), just ask. I really appreciate the support from people here. Thank you! I'm very glad to read the good stories, and I'm glad to know that there are other people out there like me, who are passionate about their cars. My husband thinks a car is just a car. To me it is an extension of my personality. I'm a true Saaber, otherwise I would have never gone for Saab #3!
