after a turbo failure, it's pretty amazing how much oil and scrap metal you can remove. Also new spark plugs, as the oil bath can led to misfires. I have also seen brake boosters fill with oil from a bad turbo and from a bad vacuum pump on the end of the head. Usually a 10 minute drive clears the oil out of the exhaust.
